2010 In review-preview of 2011

Holy Cow!!!
I can't belive 2010 is over TOMORROW!!! Seems like yesterday we were watching the ball drop, while I was trying to convince my, then, boyfriend to kiss me. Didn't happen! Silly boy!!

Here is our 2010 in review. It's a wild ride, hold on tight!!

January- I went snow shoing for the first time!!! Such a blast

February- I had the first Valentines day I actually liked! What a wonderful way to start the new year off!!
March/April- I made a trip home to Montana with Marie! It was so much fun! We were there over Easter, so we had to have an Easter Egg Hunt!

May- I started school at Color My Nails School Of Nail Technoligy! It was a blast! I had so much fun with most of the girls there, and made some awesome friends!
June- I graduated from Color My Nails, had a birthday and got ENGAGED, finally! It was a big month!

July- Victor and I were married on July 31, 2010! It was the best day of my life! That whole weekend was such an amazing experience!

August- We came home from our Honeymoon, and put together our first house! It was so much fun, and it's amazing to wake up next to him every morning!

September- My parents came to visit us, and to see our house! It was fun to have them around, in OUR house! We also made a trip to Vegas at the end of September for Victor's work. It was fun, but we were glad to come home!
October-I got a job working as a receptionist for Ricks Richfield Monuments! I work Fridays and that's it, but it's a good job!
November- We had our first Thanksgiving as a married couple! We spent the day with my in laws, eating, playing games, eating, watching the kids play games, eating, sleeping, eating, watching movies, eating...Did I mentioned that we ate A LOT?
December- We made a couple trips up north to see friends and family! It was so nice to be up there again, I actually miss it...well I miss the people, not so much the construction. We had our first Christmas, and it was nice. We spent the morning with his family, and then went with my family later in the day! Lots of fun was had! This week I have been sick which stinks, but Victor has been so wonderful in taking care of me! I couldn't have asked for a better husband to spend eternity with!!!

I don't have pictures for the last few months..I have them, I just haven't put them on my USB drive. Forgive me!

Preview of 2011

This coming year there are lots of things I'm HOPING for. We'll see how it goes. Here is a list of a few things I'm hoping to see happen this up coming year. I'm so excited to see what life has to bring us, and I'm so glad to know that I don't have to face it alone! Here's to 2011!!!

I'm hoping that I will lose at least 15 pounds. (hopefully this one will happen towards the begining of the year)
I'm hoping I can find a job that I can work more than 1 day a week! I love the job I have right now, but sitting on your couch day after day can make you a little crazy!
I'm hoping that we will start trying to have kids. We'll see how that goes!
I'm hoping we will be able to start saving for our own house that I can paint and do what I want with it when I get bored!
I'm hoping to get away from soda! I stopped drinking it before we got married, and it was wonderful, lets get back to that!
I'm hoping to make at least one trip to Montana to see my family! Hopefully in March to see Jake's little baby boy! I can't wait to meet him!!
I'm hoping to get the hang of cooking more than just the main course of dinner...maybe faten my husband up a little bit
I'm hoping to get into good enough shape that I can almost keep up with my husband on one of his bike rides
I'm hoping to maybe run a 5K with Victor this summer...better start now!

WOW! I could go on and on, but I'll stop boring you!!! I hope you had a wonderful 2010 year, and I hope the new year will bring all you hope for! Be safe and know that someone is thinking about you! :)

Bored at work...Married Survey

2.How long have you been married?

5 months on Friday

3.How long did you date?
   1 year, engaged for less than 2 months!
4.Where did you meet your spouse for the first time?
    the first time was up the mountain at a bond fire with some friends, but we didn't know it was the other      one. The first one we realized was at FHE
5.When did you first kiss?
     3 weeks after we started dating. He didn't want to screw it up, but he had kissed the top of my head a few times before!

6.Who kissed who first?
    He kissed me first. And it was wonderful
7.Who asked who out first?
     umm.....that depends. I asked him to get cookies and ice Cream, but that wasn't really a date cause we had a tag a long, I also asked him to watch basketball games with me, but our first REAL date he asked me!
8.Who proposed?
     He did, the day before my birthday! The best gift, EVER
9.How old are each of you?
    I'm 22, and he's 28.
10.Who eats more sweets?
     I do. He doesn't like candy getting stuck in his teeth!
11.Who said I love you first?
      He did. We had both known for a while, but he had never said it before, and was a little scared! it was cute! We were watching 'O Brother Where Art Thou' it's sorta our movie now!
12.Who is taller?
      hahaha...he is for sure! by almost a foot!
13.Who is smarter?
     Definitely Victor! after all, he has a college education! haha
14.Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
     If you are looking at the bed, I do.
15.Who mows the lawn?
     we both took turns this summer. I usually tried to do it while he was at work, but I forgot sometimes!
16.Who cooks dinner?
      ME...unless I'm sick, then he will!
17.Who drives?
      he does.
18.Who has more siblings?
       that depends. He has 4, and I have a mixed family! counting ones we grew up with, I have 1, so he would have more!

19.Do you have any house pets?
     We have a fish named Blue, who might die since our house is cold~!

20.Did you go to the same school?
     Nope
21.Are you from the same home town?
      nope. I'm from all over, and he's from Monroe!
22.Where do you eat out most as a couple?
      umm...when we ate out we liked to go to Applebees..that's where we had our first date!
23.Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
      Vegas in September for his work!
24.Who has the craziest exes?
     Well...since he doesn't really have too many, I would say me, but none of mine are really crazy
25.Who had more boyfriends/girlfriends?
     I did

     depends on who we're with.
27.Who wakes up earlier?
     we both get up together. I get up to make him breakfast everyday
28.Do you get flowers often?
    not yet...but I keep hinting! ;)

      Victor...since one of his degrees is in Computer Science!

Christmas

Hey Everyone!!!

    I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas this year! I know we did! I forgot to take pictures for most of it though....but I do have an awesome one of my husband wearing 3-D glasses that I will post at a later date, cause it's pretty sweet!

    We went up north (orem/highland) on Christmas Eve with my in-laws. It was fun to be with family for the night/day! We all opened our presents and some of us were pretty spoiled. I got a lot of things I needed like close toed shoes so my feet don't freeze at church on Sundays! I bought some last year, and lost them when we got married and moved. OOPS! But my husband picked out some awesome ones! I also got a step latter from my in-laws. Now I don't have to use Victor's Bow and Arrow target! It works out nicely!
     Then we went to spend some time with my family in Orem! It was so nice to see everyone. I haven't seen the whole family since our wedding, and I sure missed them! I acutally cried when i was saying good-bye to my grandma! It sucks not being able to see her more...but one day we will!!!

It was such a wonderful day! I wish my parents and brother could have been there, but they were nestled in their own homes staying warm!

Anyways, I hope you all had a good day, and enjoy the rest of 2010! It has been a wonderful year, and I can only imagine them getting better!!

Lately....

Hello everyone!

Thanks for joining our blog! We (ok...I) hope you enjoy it, Victor could care less that we have a blog! :) Since it's been so long since I'm blogged I'm gonna do this the quickest way possible.

Lately...

...I have been doing lots of dishes
...I have been making lots of food, and it seems to either be not even close to enough, or way too much for 2 people.
...i find myself sitting on our couch wondering what I did to deserve such a wonderful husband.
...I wonder what I'm going to do with my day
....I wonder when/if I will find a job.
....I think about my life and how I got to this point.
...I feel grateful for all the blessings I have in my life.
...it feels like laundry is never ending...how do people with kids keep it up?
...I wonder what the husband and I will do that night.
...I think about cleaning, but then usually decide against it.
...I have been doing lots of crafts to keep myself entertained.
....I have been working on Fridays only. It's nice, but I wish it was more.
...I have gained more respect for parents and how they raise kids with little money.

But most of all Lately....

...I have felt more love and appreciation than I ever thought possible!

Before Victor and I got married, I knew how much he loved me, but since we've been married, he shows and tells me everyday how much he loves me, and every time I get butterflies. I can't believe he chose to spend the rest of his life and eternity with ME! I'm such a lucky girl!
