SOOOOOO much going on

Bryce Canyon

ok...so I sorta fail as a blogger...but I'm hoping that once you hear what has been going on, you might forgive me....if not, you can come visit, and there might be brownies! (Brownies have helped bribe people for the past couple weeks...still hoping they will work)

Victor & The Duke

alright....first of all, the Montana trip has been postponed due to mom being in the hospital again. We're hoping to be able to go out in October maybe...but we're not really sure now. I can't wait to see my nephew...and I'm pretty sure I would be considered one of the WORST aunts in history since I haven't seen him yet, and he was born the end of February. Instead of Montana Victor and I decided to celebrate our anniversary early and take the 3 days and go to the Grand Canyon. I went once when I was little with my grandma and poppy, but I couldn't remember ANYTHING about it. So since we live pretty close to it, we decided to take off. It was an amazing trip. We left Sunday morning, and went down to Bryce Canyon again, but we did some hiking this time. It's so pretty there. After we did Bryce Canyon, we drove down to Kanab, UT. Just a small little town right on the Utah, Arizona border. We went to the "Little Hollywood" museum there. It was pretty cool. It had a bunch of old Western movies sets, that were used in real movies. They included some sets that had John Wayne, and Clint Eastwood in them. And even though I've never seen any of the movies, Victor was pretty excited about them. He had to get his picture taken with "The Duke" just to show off!

Grand Canyon

Then Monday we drove the 1.5 hours to the Grand Canyon. I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning. The closer we got to the visitors center, and to the actual Canyon, the more excited I got. I got butterflies, and I was all jittery. Victor was laughing at me, but I was just so excited! I took hundreds of pictures, just because I wanted to bring as much home with me as I could. We did a little hiking there too, and we found this Wedding Site. They actually do real weddings at this spot, that overlooks part of the Canyon. It's pretty neat. We spent most of the day there, taking pictures, hiking, taking pictures, driving, taking pictures, talking, and taking pictures. I can't wait to blow some of them up, and frame them. I'll be famous in my own mind! haha.

Mountain Sheep

After the Grand Canyon we decided to go to Zions, since that's where we went on our Honeymoon, and we didn't have to be home till Wednesday. We drove the Zions that back way, and saw some Mountain Sheep right next to the road. It was so cool. We could have pet on of them, if they liked us! Then we went to St. George to see Lori, and the girls! It was so fun to see them. Those girls are so dang cute!
On Tuesday we decided to go back to Zions to do some more hiking. We hiked up the Narrows, which is the Virgin River. There were some spots in the river where I thought I was going down. Since I'm so short, I couldn't reach the bottom...and I just kept trying to float away. It was lots of fun though. Then we came home, cause we still had lots going on!

Grand Canyon

When I say lots going on...what I really mean is, WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOUSE!!!!! That's right...we're finally home owners. I love our house! Right now we're painting, and still trying to move in. We closed last Tuesday, got the keys Thursday, and started moving Friday. However, we had a little set back when Victor had to take me to the ER Friday night with Kidney Stones. These dang stones just don't leave. They like to tease me, making me think they are gone, but NOOOOOO they're just playing. We finally got everything moved in on Saturday. It's so stressful not knowing where anything is, but it feels so nice knowing that its ours, and we can do what we want with it.
I also got to quit Wal*Mart, and go back to work full time at Rick's Richfield Monuments. I LOVE this job. I get to play on the computer working on Custom Artwork, working on people's headstones, and picking their stencils. It is really such a fun, different job. I love it!

Anyways, that's pretty much everything going on with us. I hope you're all doing well!!!! :)
